www.911aok.com NEWS

Thank you.

For all of you who have helped perform the more than 6400-recorded acts of kindness (and the more that 10,000 other kind acts performed but not yet entered on the site), thank you.

A big thanks also goes to www.911aok.com co-founder Fariborz Azhakh, who in just a few days created our website. The idea for the site actually came from Fariborz, as he was doing something similar for his black belt candidates. When I saw his creation it hit me that we could do the same thing for people everywhere –and Fariborz lit up at the prospect. He promptly built the beautiful Flash intro to the site and went straight to work on everything you see when you enter 911aok.com.

Here’s a little 911aok.com trivia: On the third night of the program’s existence, the site received 300,000 hits in just 30 minutes. That’s some serious website action, now let’s hope we soon see 300,000 acts of kindness!

A second set of thanks goes to Grandmaster Jhoon Rhee and his protégé and assistant Ken Carlson. The two instantly got the potential of the project and went right to work on getting their friends in Washington to embrace the idea. Good things are going to come out of their work –you just watch! I owe a special thanks to GM Rhee, who really deserves the credit for most of my philosophical work, as he set me on that path when I was in my 20’s. I’m 45 now and yet I can recall many of the things he taught me back then as if he’d just told me yesterday.

Please help us spread the word about www.911aok.com. I’ve contacted Century Martial Arts, the Martial Arts Industry Association (MAIA), the National Association of Professional Martial Artists (NAPMA), Educational Funding Company (EFC), and while none of them have jumped on the bandwagon yet, I expect good things. If you know anyone in these or other organizations that may help the cause, please apply the appropriate amount of pressure.

Watch our “NEWS” for more developments!

Thank you!
