As a child I was a risk-taker, and a bit hyperactive. If you ask my parents, they would tell you I was a fearless, and extremely strong willed child. I’m pretty sure things haven’t changed too much. My adventurous nature has allowed for many different opportunities in my life.
My martial arts career began in November 1992. Simultaneously my college education began. Since that time I have earned my 4th Degree Black Belt in Hapkido-Blend, my BA in Kinesiology, and MA in Physical Education. Dreams of a career in medicine led me to join the U.S. Army, and for the past 7 years I have been a dedicated Reserve Soldier. Fortunately I found a way to quench my thirst for medicine through the Reserve, and also teaching for the American Red Cross. Meanwhile, I have been able to concentrate on a career in martial arts and fitness. I consider myself extremely fortunate to make a living doing what I love.
